Rarihokwats brings to the Board over forty years of experience advancing the social, economic, legal and political interests of indigenous peoples in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. He developed the concept of the Ochichakkosipi Healing Lodge and negotiated the contract between the First Nation and Correctional Service Canada, directing the Lodge for its first two years of operation until a permanet CEO was installed.
